People are asking themselves if the price of college of education is worth it.
A recent poll conducted by Gallup and Purdue University shows only 38% of college graduates found their education to be financially viable.
A small survey by MyBankTrader suggests people would go to great lengths to get rid of their student loan debt.
Of those surveyed, 55% said they would turn their life into a reality show and 38% said they would participate in a questionable health study to get rid of their student loan debt.
According to The Institute for College Access and Success , 75% of Central Michigan University class of 2013 graduated with debt. The average debt of the 2013 graduates was $32,581.
So Insider asked students “would you be willing to give up a body part or organ if it meant you would graduate without debt?” Most students we asked say they would give it up some part of their body to be free of the burden of the debt.
